# Ownership and funding

We ask every outlet in the world one question: who owns you and who pays you. Here is our answer.

## Owner

Orbseer is owned and operated by Iternity Research Corp., a small independent company. It has one owner, no outside shareholders, no parent company, and no connection to any political party, government, media group or platform.

## Funding

As of October 2026 Orbseer has no funding of any kind beyond its owner's own time and a home computer. There is no sponsor, no advertiser, no grant and no investor. Reading Orbseer is free and will stay free.

If that changes, this page changes first. Any future money will be bound by the rules on the [standards page](/standards/) and published here: source, amount band, dates. No political, government, state-owned, lobbying, public-relations, media-owner or platform money will ever be accepted, and no single source will be allowed to exceed five percent of yearly income.

## Where it runs

The engine runs on a computer in Canada, behind a content-delivery network. Records are backed up to a private repository and timestamped on the Bitcoin blockchain. No reader data is stored beyond notification tokens and follow lists.

## Conflicts

The owner has no financial interest in any outlet, media group, platform or company covered. If a card ever concerns Iternity Research Corp. or its owner, it is produced by the same engine under the same rules and marked as such.
