Boilerplate

Orbseer is a free, independent news instrument that shows where every story came from: who said it first, how many independent voices stand behind it once copies and shared owners are counted once, who owns the outlets carrying it, what each side says in its own press and language, which figures are disputed, whether a story spread on its own or was pushed, and what changed after publishing. Every number links to its evidence, every record is sealed and timestamped, and the engine publishes its own accuracy daily. Orbseer never says who is right. It is built and run by Iternity Research Corp., with no sponsor and no advertising.

Short: Orbseer shows where the news came from. Every story has a fingerprint.

Name and mark

The name is Orbseer, one word, capital O. The mark is the Seal: a fingerprint of five ridges in a perfect circle, the inner ridges broken at past, present and future, with an amber centre for the first report. Files: SVG and PNG in dark and light, wordmark, icon and social image, at /press/ and in the brand folder. Do not recolour, rotate, or place the mark on a photograph.

Documents published by Orbseer (white papers, sealed records) carry the Great Seal: the mark inside an inscription ring with the date, the method version, a seal number and the first sixteen characters of the document's SHA-256. Each number appears once in the public seal register at /seals/. A document whose hash does not match its seal is not ours.

What we will and will not do for press

We will explain the method, share data files, and show the evidence behind any card. We will not comment on whether a story is true, rate outlets or people, or give interviews that put a face on the engine. The record is the spokesperson.
